Environmental issues stemming from industry are becoming a concern for society. As government regulations are tightened and enforced to ensure good air quality in Canada, the option of burning wood debris from forestry & construction demolition will no longer be a viable one. A large part of Canada’s population is already burdened with respiratory problems such as asthma, and it’s on the rise.
Free up Valuable Land Base
Burying it in the ground, as a means of disposal, doesn’t work either. It renders the land invaluable and unstable for future use or development.
The recycling of household products is a common-place practice in our world today, and the recycling of wood, BC’s valuable resource, should be common practice too.
